UK Cyber & Intelligence
Northrop Grumman in the UK brings modern software development approaches and blends these with a rich heritage and experience in the defence and security sectors.
We deliver solutions that harness the latest in data science, machine learning and secure cloud transformation and deliver to customers at pace and scale (Agile) adopting a highly collaborative style towards continuous integration and delivery (DevSecOps).
Our approach helps our customers to solve some of their most challenging problems and, in turn, helps to keep the UK safe countering threats from a variety of adversaries of different sophistications.
Integrated Bridge and Navigation Systems
Northrop Grumman’s advanced marine technology is relied on by our customers for safe navigation and multi-mission support capabilities. Our Integrated Platform Management Systems provide real time monitoring, control and diagnostics of the status of a vessel and all its machinery.
Our defence tailored Integrated Bridge System seamlessly combines data from nautical sensors and military applications for optimal situational awareness, navigation and C4ISR.
Command and Control (C2)
Based on our world-leading Interoperable C4I Services (ICS) and Command and Control Personal Computer (C2PC) software, Northrop Grumman has powered the core C2 systems for the UK MoD and NATO for over 25 years. ICS provides an open architecture and a unique set of capabilities to facilitate the creation, visualization and distribution of the Common Operating Picture critical to multi-domain and joint operations. Our web-based C2 solutions create a foundation for the next-generation of Agile C2 systems that will enhance decision-making through service-based incorporation of new data sources. This agility will allow the integration with emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
F-35 Lightning II
More than any aircraft that has gone before, the game-changing F-35 Lightning II is designed to be a node in the combat environment. The halo of connectivity that it provides ensures its ISTAR collector, strike, and ground support capabilities are second to none.
As a principal partner for the F-35 not only do we provide much of the aircraft’s situational awareness, but also through our provision of the aircraft’s communications and battlespace networks capability, no-one is better placed to integrate F-35 into the battlespace.
